Coronavirus is a word that describes the epidemic of decease that has touched millions of people across the world. There are a few pandemics that are about to end the entire human civilization in history.

Today, the whole world is facing one of such pandemic named as COVID-19. The novel coronavirus is known as COVID-19 (Coronavirus decease of 2019). The earliest case detected on 17 November 2019, weeks before authorities acknowledged new virus, says Chinese media in the region of Wuhan, China.

China was criticized over attempts to cover-up the outbreak for a few weeks. Chinese doctors tried to warn their authorities about a new virus that was emerging in the city of Wuhan in Hubei province but they got reprimanded and even authorities did not publicly concede about human to human transmission until 21 January 2020.

Now, The virus has become a diplomatic conflict between the USA & China. US officials calling the decease as “Chinese coronavirus” and a foreign ministry spokesperson of china, Zhao Lijian suggested being a USA virus carried by the USA Army without any evidence.

The Pandemic virus has infected at least 21,09,709 people with death numbers of 1,37,066 and 5,26,770 got recovered across the world till 16 April 2020.

The World Health Organization (WHO) director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic on 11 March 2020.

The World Health Organization has been questioned, why they had not taken an early, corrective and transparent decision because WHO took approx. 115 days to declared COVID-19 as a pandemic.

The first case reported in India was on 30 January 2020, As of 16 April 2020, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has confirmed a total of 12,759 cases, 1515 recoveries, and 420 death.

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on 22 March 2020 and India observed a 14-hour voluntary public curfew and further on, a 21-days lockdown got declared by authorities on 24 March 2020 affecting the entire 1.3 billion Indians. On 14 April 2020, the prime minister extended the ongoing lockdown till 3 May 2020.

The Indian Government has launched a mobile-based smart application named as “Aarogya Setu” to help in “contact tracing and containing the spread” of COVID-19 pandemic.
