1.) The Hanging Pillar:
Lepakshi is a small village in Andhra Pradesh and is famous for temples of Lord Shiva and its Architecture. You can call it a floating pillar or hanging pillar but it is a mystery that how this pillar is not touching the ground. Hundreds of people visit the Pillar everyday and pass the entire cloth under the pillar and it is said to bring them prosperity.
2.) Levitating Stone:
This is one mystery that nobody is able to interpret. This stone weighs around 70 Kg and it is said that this stone can only be lifted by one way which is 11 people are required and they should gather around it and touch the stone with their fore fingers and then say the name of the saint loudly who placed a cursed on this stone. When they do this the stone rises up in the air for some mysterious reason.
3.) The Red Rain:
The date was 25th of July and the year was 2001 and the place was Kerala, when people noticed drops of red coloured rain and it continued till 23rd of September. It felt as if blood was pouring from the sky. Everybody was stunned at this shocking event and after a study conducted by the Government of India, It was found that red particles were the airborne Algae.
4.) Twin Village Kodinhi:
It seems Kerala has something unusual about it. Moving from the Red Rain,this is a village known as Kodinhi in Kerala that has more than 200 pairs of Twins which is the highest in the world. The amazing part is that even when the girls of this village are married outside, They produce twins. After much research it is found that there is a chemical in water that is responsible for this mysterious behaviour in Birth pattern.
5.) Shani Shinhnapur Village:
Shani Shingnapur village is located in Maharashtra and when you will visit this place you will shocked to see that none of the houses have doors. It is also known as door deprived village. The other amazing part is that there is nearly zero crime rate reported in this village and the locals believe that Lord Shiva is there to protect them and they do not need any doors.
6.) Bullet Baba Temple:
The story goes back to 2nd December 1988 when Om Banna or Om Singh Rathore was travelling with his bullet from a village in Jodhpur and he met with an accident and died on the spot and the Bullet fell near to him. After the Police got to know they took the bike at the station and when they woke up next morning, they found that the bike was missing and it was found at the same spot where it met with the accident. After repeated attempts of the police they were not able to hold the bike and it returned to the same spot and when the locals came to know they started worshipping it and built a Temple around it. This is one of the most mysterious places in India.
7.) The Lake of Skeletons:
This Place in Uttarakhand can actually give you shivers. Roopkund or glacier lake is a high altitude lake and is at a height of around 16000 feet. The unusual part is when the snow melts people can find lots of skeletons at the bottom of the lake. The locals believe that the skeletons belong to the kings and queens of 9th century.
